Do you fly with the best of airlines? Or are you a passenger of some of the worst?
The good news? You will soon know the answer. The bad? Many millions will come to the realization that they pay "the worst" of airlines to ferry them around the country. WalletHub recently came out with a list of the best (and/or worst) airlines in the country for 2016. Here are their findings: Have you ever gone on vacation only for it to seem like a let-down compared to the lead-up? Well, it turns out there may be good reason for that. Because planning vacations makes for some happy humans.
Starbucks. What would I do without you?! And whatever you may think of the coffee chain, it’s one of the most successful businesses in the world. That’s because, since the return of their CEO Howard Schultz, the company has made smart business decisions.
One of those smart decisions: change the way their loyalty program works. Come April, the Starbucks Rewards program is going to be revenue based, which is a big change from what it is now.
It pains me to say but one of my favorite aircraft of all time is nearing retirement. The 747, believe it or not, just turned 47 years old! Yeah, hard to believe!
It was on February 9th, 1969 when, shortly after the first 747 took to the sky for the first time, commercial air travel changed forever. Since it’s introduction to commercial flight, the Boeing 747 (aptly named the Queen of the Skies) has ruled the skies. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. A particularly nasty virus is making it’s way around the world in quick fashion. In fact, the World Health Organization has already said this bug is “spreading explosively” through the Americas. It’s called the Zika virus, and is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito. In a relatively short amount of time, nearly 40 people in at least 11 states have been diagnosed with the Zika virus in the U.S.
Now, this virus isn’t deadly to a relatively healthy person (at least that’s what I gather from everything I’ve read). The symptoms include fever, rashes, muscle/joint pain, headaches, and more. What makes this a nasty virus is what it does to a baby while it’s developing inside of mom. |
