WATCH: 80 Year Old Flight Attendant Still at it Nearly 60 Years Later

​80 years old and she’s still crisscrossing the country like it’s still the 1960s. No, she’s not a passenger. The video below tells the story of Bette Nash, a flight attendant for American. She been on the job for nearly 60 years! That’s incredible. ​

Some of the parts I find the most fascinating is where she describes the history of flying, and how luxurious it used to be. She tells you about how the stewardesses used to go up and down the aisle offering cigarettes (for free) to the passengers, and how the meals used to be (compared to now, where it’s just a package of nuts).

Bottom line

This is such a cool little bio. I hope to be just as physically active when I’m 80! And you can tell she loves what she does.
