I can’t believe I’m writing this, but the holiday season will be here in just a matter of weeks! Has this year flown by or what?! Anywho, if you’re thinking about going somewhere for the holidays, it’s about time to stop thinking, and start acting. Why? Because, if you’re flying somewhere for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years, the best time to buy tickets is from October 5th-12th. That is, according to Orbitz. When it comes to Turkey Day, the best day to book a roundtrip ticket is October 6th. According to Yahoo! Travel an average round trip ticket will cost you $406. If you’re traveling for Christmas, the best day to buy is October 9th. That’s when a round trip ticket will cost about $428. Finally, if you’re ringing in the new year someplace other than your family room, the best day to book your trip is October 10th, which is when it’ll set you back about $362. Bottom line Get on it! Request those holidays off and book your travel. Because if you don’t, you’ll likely end up paying more than you need to. You may also like: -Your Baggage is Damaged.
